Thanks Milhouse! I had to stay for work and I was pleasantly surprised with the standard of the rooms and even though I participated little in the activities that took place in the bar where there was great music and a bar, I was able to combine work and rest perfectly.
I stayed for almost a week and participated in several activities organized by the staff. The pub crawl was great, the most fun thing I did in Buenos Aires. They choose very good bars, delicious drinks and good music.I also had a lot of fun at karaoke. Thank you all for my incredible week!
What a great time you had at Milhouse! The staff is super friendly, the facilities are very clean and spacious and the activities are the BEST thing that happened to me on my trip! I met many people from all over the world. I will definitely return!
Milhouse Hostel is stunning! Clean, tidy and sociable, there are always lots of interesting people and the staff are always helpful in everything that is needed and always welcoming and with a smile, and especially I want to point out that Anna really helped me both in closing a bus ticket and in the flight and she is simply stunning and answered all my questions and was very patient and nice. I had a very good experience, I highly recommend it!
Excellent experience. The humanity of all the staff makes you have a good time if yes. Above all Karen, who helped me through a personal difficulty, whom I thank. The unbeatable location. 100% recommended.
Absolute scam. The coords on the bed don't even work, the common area sucks, you have to rent the board room, the food was burnt, and on top of that they literally scammed us on the pub crawl. They asked us to pay for a club, sent us to a club that wasn't even open and then didn't even bother assisting afterwards. Terrible place, don't recommend.
Milhouse Hostel is a very sociable hostel. There are many activities and excursions you can book. Volunteering and Spanish lessons are also offered. The hostel arranges different activities , such as going out together or karaoke. The staff is super welcoming and friendly, whether it is in the bar, for breakfast, or in the reception. They welcomed me with smiles and had lots of useful recommendations for Buenos Aires. If you would like to party, meet new people, be social, and have a good time, this is a great place. The hostel is huge and has many different rooms. Private rooms are located on the upper floor, away from the area with most noise. Breakfast can be purchased in the bar, and they are happy to store your bag after check out. All spoke well English and were very helpful. Thank you for a beautiful time :o)
If you're looking for a fun spot to party and socialize than definitely book this hostel. I tend to get overwhelmed in big city's but I felt welcomed here right away and the vibes were great! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, especially Alex who was a big part of why my stay was quite amazing here. Thank you all so much for showing me a great time 😁
Excellent service, beautiful and very comfortable rooms, remarkable hygiene, without a doubt a beautiful place to return to that exceeded our expectations
I would not stay at this hostel again. Absolutely no privacy in the rooms - my feet were touching the guys head in the next bed, very intimate. Bunks were wobbly, mine had come loose from the bolts on the wall so the bed shook more than a tree in a hurricane. Also no protection if you were to fall in your sleep, and it’s a hefty height. Our bathroom was a complete swamp, the floor was covered in water. While this is of course one of the guests, a sodden wet towel remained on the floor from the point I checked in until I checked out (2 nights). The owners response to these reviews state rooms are cleaned 3 times a day, though this was not the case.Location was decent and the building was nice, but the rooms were cheap and not user friendly. It’s a party hostel so mentally prepare for someone to come stumbling in at 3am.Heard there’s lots of other nice ones in town.
Stop denying!!! Accept what people are saying! Don’t stay here! The beds were wobbly and you are without barriers or walls so good luck not falling down. The whole experience was just awful, no idea why it has many good reviews, maybe different rooms have different conditions….Response to their message: i forgot to mention that they scam people for football matches at 150 usd per ticket, the tickets should cost no more than 50 usd so they are just ripping off their customers. The beds literally had the bolts unattached to the wall! Privacy is almost none existent, plus the room smells so awful and you have to put your bed sheets on a wobbly ladder with nothing to grab onto, worst hostel of my SA trip
I thought I had reviewed this place already. I stayed here as a guest back in April this year. I loved that I felt my belongings were safe here at all times, hot water in the showers, comfy beds, plenty of space and activities to meet people and have fun. The staff was always nice and friendly to me, even when I was no longer a guest. I also enjoyed the variety of teas at breakfast. I'm sure I'll stay here again in my next visit to Bs As
So I came to my shared room and it said everything was ready.I was given bed linen to make, but everything was already there... As it turned out, from the predecessor. Absolutely disgusting. As well as all the hair (shower, sink and floor, the toilet that overflows with toilet paper) in the bathroom and it has already been cleaned…. It looked like days without cleaning. Impossible in a 6-bed room.Unfortunately very bad experience
Beautiful experience with 20 architecture students from Uncuyo who decided to go to the hostel and it was the best decision!!! Incredible interior design, common spaces of bar, pool, kitchen, bathrooms, super comfortable rooms, the attention and questions we had were resolved, very kind. So thank you!!!! We hope to return soon!!
The rooms have comfortable beds, although I was in a mixed room, the order and cleanliness depends a lot on who you share with. They have a trunk to store your luggage (take a padlock). Sheet service. The cleaning service comes two or three times a day, that seems perfect to me. I was out for a walk and was able to work from the hostel. It has a very good location in the capital! They give you good advice for tourism! I recommend it people!
Had and an amazing stay at this hostel, it is the best place to meet travelers from all over the world.Everything is so comfortable and I think that the stuff here are the nicest people in Buenos Aires.Very highly recommended and I will definitely come back again 🙂
LOVED this hostel, favourite hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Super social, nice beds that get made everyday, lovely staff, great breakfast options, and unlimited free coffee & tea. Really easy to meet people & we could take spanish lessons in the building, super perfect. Helped us book local attractions such as tango show & dinner which was amazing & would recommend. ❤️❤️
Excellent location very close to the subway as well as the pre-metro. Various places for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. A few steps from the obelisk, the Colon Theater, the Barolo Palace, the Plaza de Mayo and Plaza Congreso. The same hostel has bicycles that can be used to go out for a ride. It also offers group outings with a guide to explore and get to know different Buenos Aires neighborhoods.
Super good experience at Milhouse! Excellent location of the hostel. The comfortable and spacious room. All spaces very clean. I highlight the attention, patience and kindness of Adriana, who responded and resolved every concern we had. We will surely return, I missed doing karaoke. Huge hug and thank you all!!!
The week I spent at Milhouse Hostel was unforgettable. The beds were super comfortable, the food and drinks were great but most of all the staff made it special. in particular, Alex was always on hand to create a good atmosphere and lift the mood, offering smiles and free shots to me and my stablemate as we practiced on the pool table. Thanks Alex and all the rest of the team, I’ll be back!
Milhouse is a good hostel but what makes it, is they have the Michael Jordan of hostel workers in Alex. When the call of duty sounds he answers. When there were street parades blocking the streets Alex was extremely helpful and organised a taxi. Alex ensured that I made it safely and also was just really helpful and had a good vibe about him. I Will be returning to Buenos Aires and will hope to see Alex again.🔥
Excellent stay.I stayed in a private room. There is a very good vibe in the hostel!Super clean everything and a service of 10!I highlight the attention of Alex who treated us 10 since we arrived 🧡
A very nice hotel, you have to keep in mind that they charge in dollars, it is also a very visited place, it is better to make a reservation before going
great for parties, staff was friendly, location is also goodthe dorm room was noisythere is a risk to fall off the bed as top bunks don't have guardrailsthe public bathroom doesn't have a toilet brush/hooks for clothes/towels
This was my first time in Buenos Aires and milhouse is the perfect hostel for young travellers. There is a great atmosphere with events almost every night. The hostel is filled with people from all over the world and the reception is super helpful with recommendations and advice. The rooms are basic but serve their purpose and have all the necessities including lockers. The location is great right in the centre of town.
I'll start with the good. The hostel itself is beautiful, everything renovated, the room was 10 (I stayed in a private room). There are activities in the hostel bar at night (karaoke, dancing...). Ideal location, walking distance to the main places of interest and public transport.Cons:When checking in they told me about the bar but not about the kitchen (I discovered it on the 2nd day). The guys are very friendly but no one shows you around. The prices at the hostel bar are higher than those at a basic bar. Difficult to sleep. The rooms are noisy and also because of the people who stay in the patio on the 1st floor (where there are more rooms)... They should restrict the hours of use at night. The room was cold and when I wanted to turn on the AC it didn't turn on, when I went to reception they told me that they enable it (I had to do it every day I was there). They charge the private room as a hotel room, allow the use of AA or deactivate it with the card.Summary: the hostel is very nice but I don't know if I would return.
The place is very well located and super clean. We were in a room with a private bathroom, I expected something dingy and the truth is that it was super clean. The only thing I would complain about is that it has only one elevator and sometimes you have to wait a long time.On the other hand, for my taste I heard a lot of noise in the room, for example the Saturday we went there was a party at the hostel and in the third floor room I heard the party... the rooms were very noisy. But super clean and comfortable litters.
A place close to everything, the obelisto and Corrientes avenue where you find everything. You have transportation to wherever you want very close. The hostel was very cool, I traveled alone and I felt great! There are activities to interact, chat. Large, comfortable rooms, en-suite bathroom.Breakfast includes coffee, milk or tea, very economical options are sold to accompany it.I recommend and would stay again
The best hostel to stay in Buenos Aires! So easy to meet people, amazing vibe, staff, drink prices EVERYTHING! If you’re coming to BA, you have to stay here 🙌
Good place for young travelers.Apparently it is a favorite place for gringos, Europeans and there were many young Jews the 3 days we were there. ?The rooms are great, very nice, well prepared, super clean, good and nice bathroom, good shower and good beds.Delicious breakfasts!Excellent location! In the very center near the Colón Theater and the Obelisk. Now the bad:The plugs in the rooms are American-style, so we always had to charge downstairs in the living room.It happened to us that one night there was a party and that's why they didn't let us play pool, we didn't like that at all because it's like taking away something you paid for.
