Continuously updated to the needs of travelers, Ulises Recoleta Suites offers a new concept in Urban Accommodations, with our usual style, characterized by a deep sense of contemporary glamour, with modern and functional details. An exquisite conjunction of design, lighting, colors mixed with quality of services that join together to turn your stay into a unique experience.
Located in the most elegant and prestigious district of Buenos Aires, The Recoleta, a safe, quiet and nice neighborhood to walk in this great city, a few steps from the distinguished Alvear Avenue, in front of the Alvear Palace Hotel, surrounded by shopping malls and exclusive shops, parks, museums, embassies, art galleries, restaurants and exhibition centers, undoubtedly it is the most chic area near the downtown, banking and financial centers.
First, the location is the best, I think it must be a privilege, the service is very friendly from all the staff, and I appreciate their willingness, the rooms are very good with adequate bathrooms, I could ask for a change of towels but nothing that would overshadow the stay, the breakfast very adequate, a small space, just that, the price is the most appropriate in terms of price-quality ratio, very convenientGeneral cleanliness 10 points
The hotel is very nice, located in a good spot in the Recoleta neighborhood. We had a very nice time there. As a suggestion, a more varied breakfast, less flour and more fruits.
Unfortunately I have to write this because absolutely NO one answers any phone.I cannot receive the invoice for my stay, it is not possible to access any hotel receptionist or administration people. They charged me immediately both during the reservation and as soon as I entered the hotel. Now yes, MY INVOICE has been waiting for 4 days to arrive in my box. A shame. I would never go again and I think these people are not interested in issuing any documentation (invoicing).
The only good thing is the locationThe rooms are not good, there is no kit in the bathroom, the heating does not work well, everything is very deteriorated
Ulises was suggested by my travel advisor in the U.S., and we were very pleased. The front desk staff were very accommodating and helped us exchange currency for cab fare (I did not have enough in pesos). The breakfast was simple and delicious, the housekeeping was efficient, and the location was in the heart of a vibrant area. We offer 4 stars vs. 5 only because the bathroom had no FAN from which to vent steam from the shower (a staple in US hotels). Other than that, everything else was more than adequate, especially its price relative to nearby hotels
I believe that the overall rating here does not do the hotel justice. I would highlight the following in my 6-day stay:Positives- perfect location- excellent service from all staff- the hotel itself is very charming- the breakfast is small, yes, but everything is very tasty and despite being small, I think it is very proportionate- the room we stayed in (801) was very large, comfortable bed, good bathroom, with bathtub, very cleanNegatives- maybe update some equipment like the TV- there was no bath soap- the elevators are really small, but we were comfortable as we were a couple and had few suitcases- there was no microwave- that's it, otherwise you served us very well
Pros:-Safe and walkable location surrounded by designer stores, restaurants, and other hotels.-Room was large with a couch, nice bathroom, kitchen with microwave and stove (plates and spoons included, pots and pans not included).-Front desk staff were super helpful and spoke English.-Easy to locate from outsideCons: Rooms are dated. Seems clean although I found one bug crawling on my bed at night. TV is small and poor quality. Can hear people talking in other rooms. Blanket had a tiny stain but otherwise seemed clean.Honestly I’d give it 4 stars but overall I had no issues so I’ll give it a 5 for my personal experience.
Great location and lovely staff. However they didn’t change the towels within 5 days of our stay and the breakfast was really poor (coffee comes in a tea bag, never saw such a thing before)!
This hotel was very accommodating of our needs and is clean, comfortable and effective. Of course you could spend 6x as much to stay at the Alvear, but there's no need when you can stay at this convenient location with excellent amenities. We did not have the breakfast however, so I can't speak on the quality there, but, if it's like the rest of the hotel experience, then I'm certain it's perfectly acceptable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in Recoleta!
Clean, pretty nice rooms and more spacious thatn I'd expect for the price point. We had a slight issue with the toilet in our first room and it was dealt with immediately, solid service from the front desk. Location is great, we would come back.
Staff were nice and quite helpful. Rooms are ok - they need a little more TLC. Not a lot of variety for breakfast. It's a small place in a nice part of Buenos Aires.
Good people and good intentions. Just needs some love and reinvestment. Remote Control for TV not working. Sofa and carpet full of stains. Great location and again good people.
