Except for the location, no place is qualified to be called a hotel. The entire building is in dilapidated condition, the rooms are filled with the pungent smell of paint, and it is impossible to breathe normally. It is really unethical to rent out the rooms under renovation to guests.
There is nothing unique or executive about this hotel, maybe only central bcs it is next to Obelisc. Dont be fooled by the pics, its not even close, this is a very very basic hotel, bare min rooms w/very little amenities. They dont even have the kettle in the room. And they’re renovating at the moment, so, they start constructing at 8:30 on Saturday
You can tell that it is an old hotel that is being refurbished. The bathrooms are poorly maintained. But the beds are very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean.
Perfect location of the Hotel! A very privileged area. A few meters from the Obelisk and with access to the main attractions. A few blocks from Calle Corrientes. The hotel is constantly being renovated, which indicates that they are always trying to improve. The room is very comfortable, with some general defects but they are understandable due to the passage of years. However, it maintains a very beautiful French style decoration in all spaces. Quality-price ratio is excellent. Highly recommended.
The truth is a bad experience. The attention is nothing out of this world. The room a disaster. The pillows were uncomfortable, the shower leaked abundant water when closed and the toilet leaked water from the bottom. It's a shame because the location is very good but I really don't recommend it. At least I'm not coming back.
Everything is disgusting, the hotel is super poorly maintained, they ask for your credit card information, things don't work well and the rooms are super poorly maintained, everything is super old and they don't know how to maintain it well, the only good thing about it is the location
The location and breakfast are excellent, but the rooms left a lot to be desired. Room smelling very strongly of paint and unable to sleep, toilet problem, bathroom sink faucet dripping. We asked several times to fix it, but they couldn't.The photos of the room shown on the website do not match reality. Room very small and not comfortable at all and the bed was not good.I don't recommend it.Vilma by Cassia Martins
Good service from the staff, the room was impeccable, the breakfast was a little limited for a 4-star hotel, the taps were a bit old but clean. Good location.
It is a place that does not comply with the images that are published of the rooms, the customer service is very bad, it is not a clean place, they are not organized with reservations, they do not have adequate control. The only redeeming thing is that it is central and close to many places but it is not ideal for staying in Buenos Aires. If it's cheap, you choose, I don't recommend it.
They are SCAMMERS! They ask for your credit card information to make the reservation and they used it on a lot of purchases!!! They are unpresentable! When I realized that I filed a complaint against the card, I had to do a thousand procedures! And obviously, call to tell them everything!!! And no one is responsible for anything!!I don't fly EVER again! Not to mention, the pieces are a disaster... all 4 of them look great 🌟.
Excellent attention. Old hotel very well located, has maintenance problems, the hair dryer did not work, they provided me with one, it did not workthe air conditioning and they provided us with a heater. The staff is very nice and efficient, they try to solve problems, but there are many. I hope they can recover it because it is a very beautiful building.
Very nice location, very good service, nice breakfast, the single beds are not very big but they are good for sleeping, the location is spectacular, the only thing to note is that it does not have a convent with any garage, therefore the best place to leave the car is in the square half a block
The pictures are fake, the rooms are horrible and smell like smoke, everything is old, the elevator doesn't work properly. They're racist, they treated me different for being black.
Bad experience. I do not recommend. The room was nice (I asked for only a double bed and they gave me a room for 4)Clearly it is a place where "As they see you, they treat you." I stayed with my partner for only one night but I expected something else from a 4-star hotel. It must be the only hotel in that category that DOES NOT offer room service. Dampness in the bathroom, walls with damp details and cracked paint.Being the middle of July, the bed only had sheets on. In the closet there was a microfleece blanket. I had to ask for padding and they only gave me another microfleece blanket. Both the made bed and the Barbie hair dryer they gave me seemed more worthy of a telo than a 4 star. The breakfast is VERY EXPENSIVE but in front is Cafe Martinez, very good. The area is VERY unsafe, not being close to the obelisk is good.
The hotel costs 80,000 Argentine pesos per night, the television did not work, the telephone did not work, so if you had a complaint you had to go to the reception. They didn't have toothpaste, conditioner, or comb to sell. The air conditioning made a lot of noise and practically did not blow anything. The room flooded when we tried to turn on the bathtub. The view overlooked an abandoned building.I do not recommend them, it is preferable to rent cheaper and better through Airbnb.
I wanted to give my opinion because I see all the bad reviews and I don't understand why. It is the second time we have seen them and they are super friendly, the hotel is super nice and clean. Zero problems with anything. I always love it, and on top of that the location is the best 🤍
Beautiful hotel. The best was the location with a view of the obelisk and the attention was 100. They gave us a complimentary breakfast. Super recommended
The room and bathroom smelled of damp. The bathroom was flooding. The mattress and sheets are dirty. It's not luxurious at all, the only good thing is the location, and the Internet was relatively good
It is a scam, the rooms are not the ones in the photos, everything is neglected and without maintenance. Don't make the mistake of staying at this hotel
Those who serve seem to be doing them a favor by staying, they should have a course on how to serve guests, learn to speak and address people, I'm not saying hug them or compliment them, just be Professional, we They made us feel like we were not welcome during the entire stay.
The reason for my evaluation is that I arrived on the day of the heavy storm (since everything was flooded) and when I arrived the guys asked me for my information (there were 2 but especially one with a short white beard) the thing is that they told me no There were slots until 3 in the afternoon (I clarify that it was 10 am and I was stuffed). 0 consideration, given this fact I left angry to talk to the travel company that pays to change hotels, at all this just as it was raining and everything was left outside. The thing is that I return at 2 or a little before and the treatment towards the people who spoke in Portuguese or English was different and they never told him that it was at 3 because there were no places, not only that but they also did not ask for more money to enter if they wanted before (this is not that there were no places, it was that they wanted to get more money from me, I no longer know if it belongs to the company or that person). So here what I see is that they are discriminating against me because of my country, that is, they are XENOPHOBS, which I plan to report and since I don't know the name of the young man (since in the days I was there it didn't even occur to me to ask him why he was so bad). Attention) I plan to report the hotel itself, if possible. Why do I treat myself differently? Because I speak spanish? Because I'm from Uruguay? It really sucks, I don't plan to set foot in this again since the way I was discriminated against and treated was horrible. And yes, it was Disgusting racists
I do not recommend it. Total lack of maintenance in the room and it is a miniature. (Toilet constantly leaking and shower without spray). The photos that are on the page do not match reality.Area, well located but unsafe.I forgot some glasses in the bathroom in the buffet and when I asked, no one had seen them.
My experience was excellentGreat hotelGreat room, everything in order in the bathroom, super hot showerExcellent room serviceReception attendant service topsAll in all, I was super satisfied with the hotel.
I was at this hotel during the first week of February, I believed it would be one of the best experiences, as it was close to a famous tourist spot in the Argentine capital.Upon arriving, we were cordially received by reception, who informed us when we checked in that one of the staff spoke Portuguese, and we went up to our room afterwards. The bed arrangement was not the one requested by the reservation made on the Decolar app, which was the first problem, I then requested a room change, to someone who could meet our needs. A big room "swap" then began, which was as follows:- 1st Bedroom: Wrong bed configuration.- 2nd Bedroom: The air conditioning did not work.- 3rd Bedroom: Room facing the back of another building, with the floor of a store where the window would not open, mold on the walls and ceiling.- 4th Bedroom: The air conditioning did not work again. After the third room, we were already a little tired of it all, going up and down the elevator tirelessly. I requested to return to the 1st room, at least it was just the beds that were wrong. The reception staff changed their tone when assisting us after these exchanges, and sometimes they even "forgot" that they knew how to speak Portuguese when they came to assist us. The hotel's exchange rate was lower than that offered by apps like WesternUnion, but higher than the official rate. Where R$1.00 = AR$200.00. The maids and breakfast staff were very attentive, they solved more problems than the reception itself. The breakfast was simple, but complete, as it was included in the reservation, I can't say how much it would cost if it was consumed separately. As for the minibar, high prices for things like bottled water, it is preferable to buy them in a market and take them to the hotel. It has a perfect location, on a car-free street, with several restaurants, shops and a police base right in front, it was possible to see the tango show in one of the restaurants directly from the window of the room where we were staying. You are next to the metro, common bus lines, tourist buses and the Obelisk, as well as being close to Av. Corrientes, which has an interesting nightlife and many restaurants.
Super well located, comfortable rooms, old bathroom, there was a leak in the bathroom in the room, however everything else was ok, the air conditioning works very well.
Horrible. 2 consecutive years that I have stayed there. The first time, a room on the 1st floor. Good room. Now, 10 floors, four with mold, leaks, horrible bathroom, elevator noise, smell of cigarettes, water leaks, in short, horrible.
Poor service, rooms with dirty sheets, and the air conditioning does not work well. I had recommended it to a foreign friend but he was very disappointed
Worst experience of my life, dirty room, double bed is two singles pushed together, one taller than the other, single bed the size of a child, taps that fall off the valve, toilet with problem, bedroom floor loosening the only new thing it has It's the air conditioning. Breakfast was more or less, not taking into account the dirt on the stained chairs. Everything was very small and the elevator while I was here someone got their arm stuck, it has no air outlet or intake, nor how to call for help, it started to cause problems and then I opted to use the stairs. The hotel is dirty and old. Disgusting!! PEOPLE IN THE ROOM HAD A DOOR THAT SIMPLY LEAD TO THE OTHER ROOM NEXT DOOR!! It was locking but the lock was huge and I had to put paper in it because I could see everything from the other room.
I stayed for 4 days and had nothing to complain about, it is close to the Obelisk, restaurants and coffee makersThere is a 24-hour supermarket on the back street.Friendly staff, especially one of the maids.
Traditional hotel, has a very good location. It has a good quality-price ratio. But what stood out the most is the excellent attention of the staff! The 3 guys on both shifts are total geniuses.
I stayed 3 nights at the hotel, which has a good location, unfortunately the staff's attention is poor, the hotel is in very poor condition, the elevators do not work well and the room has damp stains, old mattresses and only one pillow, They charge you as if it were 4 stars but it doesn't reach 2, a shame!!!
Very simple breakfast, no options. Room structures are also very simple. Minibar only started working on the 3rd day we were staying. Bathroom had a water leak. As for the reception, they are to be congratulated, they are all attentive and polite. Hotel location is also very good.
At the entrance it shows a 4-star shield, this was the cost for what was paid each night, but when you enter, you find an old property with furniture from the last century but with a lack of maintenance, for example the furniture in the reception Woods have cracks giving a bad appearance. My room was based on a double bed, the minibar malfunctioned and the air conditioning was poorly performing, the bathroom was ugly, the mirrors had black spots, the sink controls came off, the shower controls were broken, and the cleaning service never changed us. the sheets and towels only after much insistence. The breakfast is good, as long as you are Argentine, for a foreigner it would surely be insufficient. The location is the only thing that stands out. Regarding repairs, painting over paint is not something that marks a level of excellence. It's a shame that a hotel is so fallen with too many details that there is no way to hide and in its eagerness to hide with poor work it only draws more attention.
Good, clean hotel, comfortable, clean beds, air conditioning, minibar, hot shower Lol open TV and others, tasty breakfast, with lots of options! Reception attends, they are polite! They speak Portuguese, English, Spanish (website Lol) I recommend not staying on the 10th floor, because the noise from the elevator is thunderous hahaha
Well located hotel, friendly staff, poor maintenance: parts with loose plugs, mattresses and real estate in poor condition, they deliver little shampoo, soap and toilet paper. It shows that the budget is scarce. I do not recommend it if you are looking for something more comfortable, if for the location. Do not schedule through booking, they offer services that are not taken into account in the reservation
Spacious rooms, but very poor insulation, you can hear too much noise from the hallway, other rooms and the very noisy elevator.Unusable safeThe best locationValue for money in doubt
We spent four days in the hotel. On the last day of our stay we woke up to the room flooded with water from the bathroom in the next room. With a horrible smell. Some things like clothes, sneakers and suitcase got wet. They changed our room to one that had a horrible view of the inside of a patio. When we asked to be compensated for the serious inconvenience caused (because you have to get up and put your feet in water that smells like poop) they practically didn't even offer us an apology. The employee attended to us, in a very superb manner, he said that they couldn't do anything, he asked us: "and what do you want me to do? You are not the only ones that happened to you. I have seven more rooms just like you" as if it were our fault. ours of being swimming in wastewater. Anyway... horrible attitude. We will never return like this nor will we recommend it to anyone. Not only because of the poor condition of the hotel but because of the attitude of its employees.
Apart from the location, which is great, and the staff like Magali and Marcelo, who are great, the hotel is falling apart. Not even your bed linen will be changed. The photos don't match reality, until the curtain fell in my room. There is a lack of cleanliness and urgent structural reform, the elevator is worthy of a horror film.
I went last year, I was on the 9th floor and the room was a dream. The bed was very comfortable and the pillow was not to mention (I ended up buying the same one for my house because I had never slept so well). Palatial but modern style. Everything impeccable, clean, well painted and nothing broken (and this is said by a fan of cleanliness and a perfectionist). The beautiful balcony with a view of the obelisk on one side and the Plaza Lavalle on the other. Super spacious and huge dressing room. The location is ideal, on the corner there is a police booth, around the corner there is a 24-hour carrefour, and bus stops all around. It is super safe to walk at night and close to many places to walk. The only negative thing but it didn't really affect my experience too much is that the shower made noise when you opened it and so did the elevators.
The location of Unique Executive Central is great. However, it is a better hotel and needs some maintenance. For example, water leaks that keep you up at night. When we arrived the hotel was full and we were placed on the tenth floor, it was not a good experience as it is the least maintained place in the hotel. We asked for a transfer and went to the first floor. The accommodation has improved a lot, but still some problems were also encountered.
Don't stay here. Horrible place, has nothing to do with the photos. The terrace does not exist. Old rooms, everything looks broken and deteriorated. Even the sockets near the bed are “out”.
We stayed at this hotel from 01/11 to 05/11/23. From the photos it seemed to be a first class hotel, so much so that when we entered the lobby, you got this impression, but when you entered the room, wow, the impression goes away.We stayed on the tenth floor, a room with a horrible noise, we stayed in 1002 and 1003, noise from the engine room, dirty elevator with dust, very old, in need of renovation and the rooms, one of them 1003, the shower didn't turn on, the television didn't turn on either, we both didn't have a closet to put our clothes in, the bathrooms had plastic curtains, the floors were coming off, you walked around and made noise, you could hear everything from the other room. There is no hairdryer in the bathrooms, there is no soap dish in the shower, to put the soap, or shampoo holder. When we go back, we won't stay at this hotel, the only thing that helps it is it's next to the obelisk and very centralized, it doesn't look like a 4-star hotel. The staff are what save it, polite and helpful.
The location is excellent, it is cheaper compared to others in the area, good service, I only had one accident in the bathroom, be careful when you get out of the bathtub it re-slabs the floor.
I AM A TRAVEL AGENT - DO NOT SELL THIS HOTEL - the hotel is old and does not look anything like the photos, in addition, a standard room was rented located on the top floor of the hotel, a floor where you need to take the elevator and then go up one more flight stairs, as the room is positioned in an environment that appears to be behind the scenes of the hotel. The room was noisy as it was positioned close to a power panel and the top of the elevator, in addition, it was very dusty, with hair in the bathroom and torn haircuts. As if all this were not enough, my client was confused as to whether it would be possible to go to another hotel or change rooms and since the incident (1 week ago) the hotel has not responded to emails or calls requesting to cancel the accommodation, it will probably be necessary to contact the justice to resolve this situation.
We booked that hotel because it offers rooms with a bathtub. When I wanted to bathe my babies, they told us that its use was not allowed. On the other hand, I forgot to plug in the cell phone charger. I called a few hours later to get it back and after thinking about it all day, they told me they hadn't found it. Shame that these things happen in a 4 star hotel. I'm never coming back
A few weeks ago I stayed with my family at this hotel. The truth is that it was a terrible experience, the room was in a deplorable state, the beds were completely worn out, sagging and one of the mattresses had urine stains that were not cleaned. On the double bed there were sockets that were at head height, and in addition to not working, the plate was loose, leaving the power cables almost accessible with the danger that entails. The toilet in the bathroom was completely neglected, the tip of the bathtub was broken and repaired as if by a child with silicone, the faucets leaked water, the shower was rusty and sulphated. In addition, the curtains did not cover the entire window so it was impossible to leave it in the dark to rest, as soon as it was dawn a lot of light entered. When I asked to change the room, it took them 2 days to do it because no one took responsibility for the situation and only on the last day were we able to rest in a correct room. I paid USD 600 and felt like I stayed in a state shelter (forgive the expression). The truth is I felt cheated and I recommend to anyone who intends to stay there not to do so.
We booked 2 nights and 3 days with breakfast service and when we arrived they charged us for breakfast again with the excuse that "we were not on the list of rooms with breakfast reservation", in the bathroom there was a tub that could not be used , the pressure and temperature of the water in the shower varied, the supposed two-seater bed was two single beds stuck together with a two-seater mattress on top. There was no place for smokers, the television was in 360pp without good channels and before we left they charged us for 2 towels that had supposed stains that made them unusable. We asked to leave our suitcases for 2 more hours while we did some last shopping before leaving and they returned my suitcase with a broken handle. The hotel bought dollars $50 less than they were worth. Terrible hotel. I don't recommend it at all.
Hotel with very little maintenance, old style, the “quadruple” rooms are disastrous, extremely small, very small bathroom and in a terrible state of maintenance in terms of repairs. The views out the window are horrible, you see the back of the hotel with other horrible buildings. The beds with low and poor quality mattresses, air conditioning without remote control, poor quality cable TV and few channels, the hotel's WiFi connection is also very bad, good signal but terrible connectivity. At bedtime it is unbearable, the noise filters through the walls, you hear the noise all the time whether it is from “arrangements” or the elevator that makes a lot of noise, you cannot sleep peacefully because of all the noise you hear.Bad experience at the hotel, I DO NOT recommend, I would much rather rent through Airbnb, better and cheaper.
Old hotel that was once 4 stars. Excellent location, close to the theaters. It lacks maintenance. At times of increased traffic, one of the elevators did not work.
Like the ortho, they didn't provide towels, they didn't do room service, breakfast was the same every day and they had very little variety. It was very noisy at bedtime either because they were making arrangements or because you could hear what was coming from the next room since the walls were very thin, the elevator broke down all the time and was very abrupt. The reception staff did not solve the guests' problems and the maids gave excuses for not making the rooms. The truth is, I did not enjoy my stay here, the only good thing is the location.
Hotel very well located with attentive staff, simple but clean room and generally good value for money. It has a lack of elevators, the breakfast is reasonable, but due to the excellent location it is a good option.
Unique Executive Hotel on Av Pte Roque Sáenz Peña y Libertad, is a four-star hotel strategically located a few meters from the Buenos Aires Obelisk. It does not have a garage, breakfast is not very varied and everything is based on flour, the rooms are barely correct for their level. The building part is very good but the maintenance is not optimal. But it is still another option among the four stars. Everything very fair...
We made a reservation through booking, and from the moment we entered the door we were very poorly received and treated with disdain by the receptionist. He handed us the form, he didn't guide us on anything, he said that our cards weren't going through, and that was a lie he didn't even try, and said that there was no other form of payment. I kept saying that there were more hotels two blocks down, at 10:30 pm at night.Note: we looked for another hotel and my card worked perfectly, terrible!
Small rooms bordering on overcrowding, especially for those designed for four people, noise all the time and very expensive. They offer mediocre tours, leave things in the refrigerator to charge you extra, and it's nothing to write home about. Everything beautiful about the hotel goes to the hall, the rest are simple, narrow and uncomfortable rooms. Come on, what did it cost you to at least do a shower well.
The front desk person was a little racist to me. I must acknowledge that was only one of them, the rest of the staff were really nice, however the situation with that one person was awful. The hotel is really old, inlcuding a really tiny elevator, but it has its own style. The rooms are also old but decent, however does not correlate with the price you are paying. The only really bad thing in the rooms are the mattresses, really really really old that does not have any support or form, must be change, those mattresses produce back pain when you wake up. Unfortunately, I must say that my experience with this hotel wasn't great, and for people that are not white, I do not recomend this hotel. Also, I do not recommend this hotel if you are searching a nice classy or a modern hotel. The only pro of the hotel is the location, which is great. Thanks for your attention and hope my honest review can help someone.
We loved the location and would definately stay there again. It's an old building and bathroom could have done with an upgrade but it was reflected in the room rate. Great value, nice staff
The location is the only thing good about it. We arrived in the morning, the hotel looked a little fancy, we talked to the receptionist that by the way was extremely polite (Marcelo, if I am not mistaken) who gave us all the information about the city, tours, etc, there's only one catch, the double room that we had booked had two single beds instead a double one, which he said they would fix but they didn't. While we were talking to him, I looked up to the A/C and I saw the crust of black mold meaning the maintenance was not done for ages. We were handed the card to the room, 10th floor, elevator was really noisy. When I got to the room, it was really dirty, the A/C condition was even worse than the one at the reception, the bathroom was filthy and needed urgent refurbishment. One thing got me thinking if they don't do the maintenance on the A/C, I don't wanna think about the maintenance on the elevators. So when I want to go my room I had to climb 10 floors by the stairs. The walls were extremely thin, and you can easily hear conversation from other rooms and from the corridors. In general the hotel, you can see the was a really fancy hotel in the 90’s but for lack of investment and maintenance became outdated. I definitely would NOT recommend it.
Hotel needs updating, bathrooms are old and in bad shape. Not enough toiletry or towels were available when asked they didn't respond to service. Front desk was RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL, They refused to work with us on a booking discrepancy and they haven't provided an invoice two weeks after our stay!
An actual three-star hotel on the lower end. As other reviewers have pointed out, it desperately needs a refurbishment. That said, the location is handy and the cleaning staff are polite. The wifi is too slow if you need to use it for work. Laundry/ironing services are outsourced and incredibly enough, the hotel only accepts cash as payment method for those services.Rooms are not soundproof at all, which may be annoying considering the location. No ironing table or kettle available in the room.
Worst experience I've ever had!We booked with booking.com which said no credit card and prepayment needed. We arrived at 1pm they told us we need to wait 2 hours which was no problem for Check in, than after the 2 hours they told us they only accept credit cards.... We told them in booking it literally says no credit card needed but they didn't care and told us to either pay with credit card or look for another hotel... So we looked for another hotel... Really bad service they could've told us that when we arrived but they rather wasted our time...
The only perfect issue with the hotel is the locationOtherwise don't worth the money you spent on the accommodation. It's NOT 4 stars hotel but 3 stars hotelThe pillows are old and the sheets are itchyThe bed is not comfortable, the balcony access is inconvenient and don't have any chairs at all , the walls are so thin that you can hear everyone who walks into the hall the TV doesn't work at all.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD WARNING: Don't pay with international credit card! At check-in they make a paper copy of your card (which is forbidden), and roughly one month after checkout you will find several hundreds of US Dollars charged from your card. CUIDADO FRAUDE DE TARJETA DE CREDITO!
Nice Hotel, well located, literally in front of the Obelisco, in Av. 9 de Julio. The staff were really nice, attentive and kind. When I went the hotel was smelling so good, like a vanilla extract. My issue is that the room I stayed the walls, the ceiling were all deep purple painted, so dark , and I got a "beautiful view" of a wall in the window of the room...at least the bathroom was fine, and not purple (white at least).
