The location is great. It is very close to everywhere. It is right in the middle of the city. It is preferred if you want to visit everywhere on foot and are not looking for too much luxury.
Best location in Buenos Aires. Near many tourist points at walkable distances. Receptionist was great and help us book a Tango show night at El Querandi, right in front of the hotel (highly recommend too). Room and bathroom had everything we needed. We also had a nice little view from our hotel room.
All the staff were very friendly, the breakfast included was sufficient and the restaurant was very good. The room is very comfortable, they have other services such as dry cleaning, etc.
It is a very untidy hotel, with poor attention. They took my reservation and then canceled it while I was in Buenos Aires. They ask for a contact number and they don't call you, they leave a number for you to call and no one answers you. They only send you an email. Appalling!!!!
The staff was very friendly. The hotel is located close to everything. The wifi was slow. There were also some minor technical issues but I would book it again.≈=======This is my second review for my second stay in M Concept Hotel. The first time, I gave them too good review because of the nice staff. This time, I got a room that didn't have anything working as expected. I was moved to a different room (a bit better) but I think my first room wasn't supposed to be offered to any human being.
I stayed at the hotel from 11/17 to 11/22/2024. The cleaning staff was excellent, but the reception staff left a lot to be desired. On 11/20 I got sick with renal colic. I asked the person at the reception if I could call a doctor or ambulance. I had a lot of pain in my kidney and couldn't walk. He himself told me no, that this is done in an extreme case and the only thing he could call was a taxi.I left in the taxi at one in the morning without receiving a response from several hospitals and they finally treated me at a clinic. I go to the bad predisposition and disinterest in a health emergency situation. They should improve guest service in the event of a health problem. In this sense, it is impossible to recommend. Terrible service. Zero empathy
The only positives of M Concept Hotel are its excellent location and the very polite and helpful receptionist (the woman) who speaks perfect English. She was professional and tried her best to assist us, but unfortunately, she can’t make up for the hotel’s shocking condition. The rooms and cleanliness are far below any acceptable standard—some hostels are in better condition. The bathroom was old, dirty, and poorly maintained, with a door that couldn’t fully close, making privacy an issue. The towels were a disaster—we asked twice for fresh ones and both times received old, dirty, and completely unusable ones. Bringing your own towels is an absolute must, and if possible, consider buying sheets as well. The bed covers were filthy, but thankfully, the heat made them unnecessary. The air conditioning is another issue—you have to choose between a cool room or a quiet room, as the system is extremely loud.Overall, unless you only care about location and nothing else, this place is not worth it. Spend a little more and stay somewhere cleaner and more comfortable.
Excellent service and attention from the hotel staff, very nice reception, everything very clean and the rooms very comfortable, the breakfast is actually quite varied and well stocked, you can find very many delights...I will return every time I am visiting, I attach a photo of my delicious breakfast kisses
At reception they treated us very well, they were very friendly and they answered all our questions about tourist information. Breakfast is a bit lacking in variety. Rooms need a little maintenance
The location is very convenient, with many attractions nearby. There is Tango restaurant with a great atmosphere next door. But the room facilities are very average and even a little old.
Really a disaster. Old and expired mattresses. Old shower and no water pressure. Very noisy, with a disco in front. Breakfast is good and so is the staff. The rest is very bad.
The location is fine, staff is ok, but the room is dirty and outdated. Three beds, 1 chair, no trash can, curtain fell off, iron pin through the mattress. In short, I think I call that somewhat overdue maintenance.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location it has because everything else is less than one star. The service from the hotel staff is bad, it is slow and the receptionists are bad-tempered; The rooms are dirty, they are not close to the photos shown on the page and the mattresses are uncomfortable and the worst thing is that when we left our suitcases, things were stolen from two companions and me. The things that were stolen from us were mostly underwear, I find that fact terribly disgusting. If you can look for another hotel in the area, you are doing yourself a favor, there are two hotels one block away.
Change the mattresses.A lot of investment in the façade and the lobby but the rooms hear each other, the mattresses have expired springs... A disappointment
Only good thing was the location, service was fairly slow and inefficient. Room was so-so. Would probably only recommend staying here for a quick night if a place near central is needed
Unfortunately it ruined our trip, we had to go out and look for another hotel, poop in the toilet, hair on the padding and several MANY stains, NASTY, bathroom latch loose, we couldn't even go to the bathroom because in one room the latch came off and the another had a face in the seat, REPORTABLE VERY LOW LEVEL and the attention despite only slightly complaining about something that was to complain badly, was not empathetic at all unpleasant
Terrible shower, no hot water, I stay, there is no one to solve it, they say FERNANDA will solve it, but only the next day, tremendous lack of respect for those who traveled all day and are tired!
TLDR: Dirty, broken appliances, broken fixtures, but great location.I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The positives are the location is exceptional for the price paid, the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and the included breakfast was pretty good. Unfortunately, it all fell apart when it comes to the rooms. They are cramped and tiny, extremely dirty, and friends had broken appliances and fixtures in their rooms including nonfunctional toilets and showers. If you only stay a night or so need and a location is key, this hotel would be an adequate choice. Otherwise, look elsewhere.
The room is a shoebox...you can hear everything 3 blocks away. The mattress was in pieces... they changed it on the 2nd day, but they moved it to the next room haha... embarrassing.
Don’t be fooled by the lobby! We had booked here for 5nights, would not recommend unless you are staying for 1night and just want somewhere cheap and nasty.Emphasis on the NASTY, our room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, the shower was dirty and had long black hair all over the walls. There was makeup on the walls next to the sink that I could wipe away with a towel. Our pillows had stains on the covers and the bed was so old the foam was coming out of it.If you are staying in Saturday night be prepared to get very little sleep as there are 3 nightclubs in the street that go later than 4am.We didn’t stay the rest of our nights and booked another hotel around the corner much nicer! The service was helpful though.
It is a hotel with a good price in the fall season, close to the city center, which allows better transportation to all points of interest to visitors.
I was delighted to have found this hotel! excellent location, beautiful and quiet environment, cafes, restaurants, Santelmo fair, pharmacies and everything I needed at hand.Comfortable rooms, quiet and quiet. The hotel staff of excellent level; Fernanda and other janitors, Juan Ignacio, Mabel and everyone without exception, always diligent and willing. They made us feel at home which is invaluable! I recommend it, without a doubt, better quality vs price.
Excellent price/quality ratio. Comfortable and modern. Breakfast is very good: abundant and varied and with quality products. Juan Ignacio stands out for excellent passenger service. At the concierge, one serves better than the other. Fernanda especially and the rest of the staff go out of their way to attend to every detail and need that we have raised during the week of stay. We will return without hesitation.
The bed is a little deceiving, it's two beds pushed together, but the good thing is that there were only Brazilians there, the staff were friendly, the bathtub unfortunately flooded the entire bathroom
I do not recommend it at all, we made the reservation where it was stated that they had parking, when we arrived they told us that they did not have it. They asked us for a card and copies of documents "because we could leave the fridge empty and leave without paying", the voucher included breakfast, which we were also denied because "it does not include it, since it is outsourced", a shame, two different people served us , but the level of destration was the same.
We don't feel very comfortable. We bought through an Agoda website and we contracted with parking, it didn't have it, and breakfast that they denied us for saying that it was not included despite showing them the boucher. They make you leave a photocopy of the document and card "just in case" knowing that you can cancel the expense. So for what? Not even a little waist to make you feel comfortable. A shame.
Excellent choice both for the location, 300 m from Plaza de Mayo, and for the services offered, abundant, sweet and savory breakfast, total collaboration on the part of the staff. Fernanda's advice was invaluable and made our holiday unforgettable, she practically organized all of our excursions impeccably.
We arrived late at night. We had previously booked booking. When booking it was stated that no credit card was required. Because we had forgotten our credit card at home (Uruguay). When we wanted to check-in they asked us for a credit card. I explained that I didn't have a credit card. Don't let this be noted in the booking. Now they threw us out into the streets at night. An absolute shame: I will never return. They should die of hunger. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
"scammers" literally scammed us, taking advantage of the change of government on December 10 and knowing the devaluation, they charged us through Booking after we stayed, that is, the first time in history that it was not charged or debited before. They never responded to dozens of emails and calls with hotel staff. In short, the hotel charged exactly double. Also during the stay they said that it was debited before, and that we should give a 10 because they had bad opinions. You should not go to that hotel
The hotel had a nice location and the staff was really friendly. English, on the other hand, is not that good, but that is nothing strange in Argentina. Then the rooms, we had quite a shock there... The door and the 'wall' where the door is located almost fall out when you open it. It is a very thin door, but the wall is also the door frame. (See photo) This makes the hotel noisy and not suitable for bad sleepers. The bed was very comfortable in our opinion and the air conditioning worked well for us.The bathroom was small, very small. The sink was about knee height so low and it took quite a while before you had hot water. We also found the bathroom not so clean. We visit hotels a lot and have a lot of material for comparison, but this was really bizarre when you compare it with the photos. It didn't quite match the photos on the internet. Not fully recommended if you are looking for a nice hotel. The lobby is the most beautiful of the hotel.
My worst experience in Argentina was the Hotel unique. My room was old, with loose floors, with no view to anywhere. Bad beds, and better, clogging in the bathroom. The photos are very deceiving.
I was slightly dismayed after reading the reviews, but for the price and location, I decided to give it a shot.PROS: The staff are incredibly friendly. From the check-in to the check-out process, they were exceptionally kind and accommodating. The rooms were clean, the AC worked well, there were multiple light sources, the bathroom had hot water, and the breakfast was delicious. There's a cool outdoor patio.CONS: There was a weird smell in the bathroom/no ventilation, which was off. It takes some time for the hot water to turn on (5+ minutes) and the sink is rather low (~2 feet off the ground). The walls are a little thin (or maybe it's the door), and you can hear anyone in the hallway, especially the cleaners. And given its location, those who need absolute quiet to sleep should ask for a room further from the street, which can be quite noisy. Many people have also talked about the strange storage space, which I would agree is weird that the closet is front to back and not side to side.WIfi: The wifi was finicky. It was stable 90% of the time but it would sometimes randomly disconnect. One also needs to be buzzed into the hotel, which can be frustrating if no one is at the counter. Would have appreciated allowing entry through a key card or something.
Our stay at M Concept Hotel was marred by the unprofessional service of Francisco, the receptionist. He was condescending and made us feel unwelcome. Despite booking a deluxe room, we were given a classic room without proper justification.Furthermore, Francisco forced us to pay a 'tourist rate', which felt like a discriminatory surcharge. This lack of pricing transparency and his dismissive attitude significantly dampened our experience.Overall, Francisco's conduct negatively impacted our view of M Concept Hotel. It's unfortunate that one staff member's behavior can overshadow an entire stay. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously to improve service for future guests.
The bathroom has a bad smell. The room is not quiet, and has poor sound insulation. We saw few bed bugs . The internet speed is very slow . The room has no chairs and the water pressure in the bathroom is very slow.
The staff is very friendly, but depending on the shift they are more or less efficient, we requested a transportation to the airport in person that when we went to use it had not been signed up and they had to call us a taxi that allowed us to pay with a card, but with a Extra charge for her pretty face. Unfortunately the room was not clean, swabs under the bed, dirty or burned sheets, pitted bathtub, a half-finished renovation, nice wallpaper on the walls but old faucets. There was no hot water at 4 in the morning to shower before the flight. It's not four stars, not by a long shot. Anyway.
If you want to sleep well, I don't recommend it. At 6.30 am the cleaning girls started LOS GRITOS to work in the hallways of the accommodation. The walls are made of paper so you can also hear the drunks on the street shouting.
I stayed 6 nights, they gave me a room with a mattress that was sinking, very expired and it took an hour for hot water to come out, my cistern broke, they changed my room but the walls are made of plaster, you can hear everything in the hallway and other rooms, the bathtub What you see in the photo is not for use because they do not have plugs. I went on a work trip, the internet is terrible, it does not download large files or a normal size PDF takes hours to send attachments in an Email. When you see photos of its lobby, you are deceiving the quality of the hotel.I would not return nor do I recommend.
The hotel is located on a busy street, but the location is good near Playa del Mayo. However, there are also many bars and cafes that play a lot of music until late (4:00 am!). Walls are not insulated, doors are thin, elevator makes droning noise when it comes to a stop; everything is noisy, you can literally hear your neighbor farting.4 star hotel? No way, don't book here! The staff is nice, does their best to serve you, gives tips about the city where necessary.
The best (and only good thing about this hotel) is the front desk lady Fernanda. She was super friendly and helpful during our stay. The rooms are not clean at all! Streaks on the TV screen and windows, soiled bedding and pillows (stained). I found it actually quite gross and couldn’t wait to check out.Further, the rooms/property is not well maintained. For example, I pressed the bathroom light switch off and my finger went right through the switched and the room in complete darkness. We had to call on maintenance to repair. He got the light on… permanently. He also tracked dirty foot prints all throughout the bathroom and hallway - again gross! I don’t want to have my bare feet after a shower stepping throughout the dirt marks. The main entrance remains locked at all times and you must get access to the hotel by getting buzzed in. I understand this for late hours, but this is in place at all times and I found it quite annoying. The hotel is also not peaceful; all night we were kept awake by the neighbouring rooms. I think the walls are paper thin.I made this booking online and was quoted and confirmed payment in ARS, however, they ended up charging me in USD. Due to the blue rate it meant my payment was nearly 50% more. Thankfully, Fernanda assisted us in dealing with their payment folks via WhatsApp to have it reversed and made payment in ARS - but I will still be charged CC fees.Area is San Telmo, great for some local shopping and close proximity to the San Telmo market.Subsequent to my stay I received an email for feedback. I intended on sharing with the hotel, however, just like the light in the bathroom, the link was not working. This hotel is a total fail in my opinion.
The photo they publish is not like that, it is a single floor, the eighth that has that small balcony, I think they should clarify that. The rest is good, a lot of noise from the people who clean, they start early and the walls are very thin... At half past 6 the noises woke me up...
The place was under renovation, television only with cable as it is not smart, it limits connection, rooms are poorly insulated from noise from other rooms.
Dangerous employees. There is no security nor do they provide information when you request transportation service. Small and obsolete rooms. I do not recommend it for your safety.
Terrible service. The rooms had a toxic smell of paint. It did not have an ironing board or iron. Too expensive for what they provide. The only good thing is the location. And the receptionist's attention is terrible. They do not provide an invoice. The phone never worked. Then they say that a tax is paid to the city for the mere fact of setting foot on Argentine soil. Appalling. They never provided adapters for the plug inputs. And every time I returned to rest the toxic smell was unbearable. I had to stay since there are no refunds or discounts.
Useless bathtub, impossible to take a shower without wetting the whole bathroom because there's only one curtain and there's not even a rug.... But we were well taken care of.And the double bed is two singles..
It does not deserve the four stars of its rating. The hotel's breakfast service claims to accept credit and debit cards, but with SIX different cards, of different flags (Visa and Mastercard), from different banks, all duly qualified and with balance (they were normally used in commerce in Argentina and in Uruguay) were however refused at the coffee service machine, forcing the guest to pay in cash. Notified and with full evidence that the cards were in order, the management took no action, claiming only to be an outsourced service. In the room, a useless bathtub, with corrupted enamel and a shower that practically allowed you to count water drop by drop, a shower curtain falling off, a faucet leaking at the base, the toilet leaking too, nothing to hang clothes and towels without them slipping onto the floor, no mat for getting out of the shower. Still: the requested double bed was just the bad union of two single beds. The dim lighting barely made it possible to read a document. Opening the window shade required an effort to nearly break the chain. There was no table for guest use, except for the lamp. The wardrobe was reduced to a rack. And forget about any kind of welcome treat for guests that we are used to finding in hotels in Brazil, even those with two or three stars, such as a shower cap and hair dryer for women, indicating that the hotel is concerned with providing good service. There is no instruction manual (telephone numbers to call for management and other services, escape route in a fire situation, power voltage - it's 220v - etc.). Positive points: the variety and service of the breakfast (except the question of payment) and the housekeeping service in the rooms (ignoring the structural flaws). As I informed the management, I was disappointed, I will not use any unit in the Unique network again, as the confidence in the quality of the structure was ruined.
The only pros of this hotel are the good service, and the well decorated entrance hall, but the rooms are small and ugly, bad lighting, bathroom with several problems both in the door lock and in the shower, bad wi-fi signal, coffee in the morning without any variety, the room key card was very faulty and didn't work well
Worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life. Do you know these photos posted of the rooms all neat? All lies... Disgusting hotel. I stayed in room 706, the mattress had mold, the shower came out with 5 drops of water (I had to take a shower in my cousins' room), rusty shower and bathtub, the door was all peeling, the wall was stained, dirty, the toilet didn't work... anyway , a horror movie. If you want advice, stay away from that dovecote, which cannot be called a hotel. Worst experience I've ever had, real rubbish.PS: and when I went to complain and ask to change rooms, amazingly, they said that everything was full, that they would see what could be done, they pretended to be insanity, and never brought up the subject again.
This is not a 4* hotel, rather 2*. The view is very beautiful from the outside, it looks modern and renovated. But things start to become funny, when you go inside of your room. The room is very small, no table, where you can put your laptop for example and work. No closet, just a few hangers and shelf for your clothes. Toilets are very small. The sink is tiny, if you are a tall person, very uncomfortable to wash your hands or brush your teeth. Water goes from hot to cold a few times when you take a shower. Water pressure is very low in the shower. The Internet is very bad and very slow, goes and comes back from time to time. The breakfast hall is very tiny, if there are many guests, no place to sit and you have to wait, until somebody finishes. The balcony door does not close properly and in July(winter in Argentina) there is some cold air, so I had to buy a hat to put on me to be able to sleep. The price for 2 is 80 USD in July and it is extremely high for this hotel. Not recommended at all.The only positive things about this hotel are the location and the staff.
4 star hotel? Not by any stretch of the imagination. The rooms are uncomfortably small, as are the bathrooms. You can feel the springs in the bed and hit the TV every time you try to walk to the far side of the bed. The lighting? Just a bulb, not a lamp, a bare bulb, blaring light into your face to the point where you just shut it off. The "closet" doesn't hang clothes from left to right, but from front to back. Doesn't make any sense and only fits 3 or 4 items. There are a couple shelves over the mini fridge, and that's your storage. The bathroom sink is about 3 ft off the ground, very uncomfortable to use and it has no space to put any toiletries besides just a toothbrush and toothpaste. The bidet is unnecessary in such a small space. Maneuvering in the bathroom is a task since the door opens and almost reaches the sink. The water goes from hot to cold on its own several times during your shower. At night there is music blaring from a nearby club that goes on until 3am. And be careful, the door to the balcony has a notice to lock it from intruders, but it's not locked to begin with, very suspicious. The small breakfast with pastries is nice I guess and the staff is nice as well, but those are the only 2 positives of our entire stay. I only stayed here because it was booked for me, but read the reviews... The cheap price should tell you everything, go somewhere else.
All Unique hotels in Buenos Aires are horrible. I stayed in two and wish I had never booked there. The Unique Art Madero and Unique Executive were both dirty, noisy, and their customer service was nonexistent. DO NOT STAY THERE, TRUST ME.
This is not a 4 star hotel by any stretch of the imagination- 2 star, absolute maximum.I booked it for 5 nights after a long period of very basic travelling, thinking to treat myself before flying home. Here's what I found:- the "king size" bed was two single beds pushed together, so you can't lie in the middle. The beds themselves were comfortable enough.- the walls and doors are paper thin- you can hear entire conversations had down the corridor from inside your room. Earplugs are a necessity.- the rooms are bare- no hairdryer, no plug for the bath, no shelves or storage, no fridge. There was a lockbox.- the white shower curtain was stained moldy orange/brown at the bottom, and the large pattern on it was made of actual holes so water just went straight through it. I had to awkwardly sit in the bath to shower myself to prevent water going all over the floor.- you have to leave the shower running for 10 minutes before you get any hot water.- I had a bath one night (I had to improvise a plug), and when I let the water out, to my horror it came straight up through the drain in the floor of the bathroom and completely flooded it, along with all the dirt from the drain. When I reported this to the nice man on the night shift, he was not surprised and informed me that you have to let the water out very slowly. There were no signs saying this.- breakfast is not automatically included, and it is expensive: 1200pesos/day. Any of the cafes around do nicer breakfasts for cheaper (I recommend Nica Distrito Bolivar 347 - excellent French toast and a coffee for 1100pesos)- everything is chipped or stained or torn or cracked. It feels quite old and a bit battered. It was mostly quite clean, except for the shower curtain. In conclusion: if I had stayed here having paid a lot less and knowing that it was maybe a 1-2 star hotel, I'd be giving a 3-4 star review. I have low standards for accommodation and I usually travel cheap: the bed was comfortable and that was mostly what I needed it for, even if the bathroom was a disaster. HOWEVER, having booked this hotel for quite a lot of money believing it was 4 stars, I was very disappointed and felt completely cheated, hence the one star review. To add insult to injury, I had also spent one night at 'Two Hotel' down the road, which is classed as a three star hotel. The service, rooms, cleanliness and amenities were really excellent and much more like what I would have expected of a 4 star hotel, which made it all the more frustrating when I moved from there to Unique Palacio San Telmo.
Don’t ever come here - trash place with 2,5kB internet no shampoo just chair bed and table. Absolutely nothing to look at. Bum home. At booking look good due to photoshop as all in Bueno Aires hotel, but BA so beautifully
